Hi, it’s been a long while since I started a new blog. I remember starting quite a few in my teens, my early twenties, early motherhood, basically every new milestone where I was trying to figure myself out. Well, internet. Here she comes again.

I’m Stephanie, I am an artist living in NC, calling the things I do anything but art. My mother is an artist too, she’s been leaving a wake of interesting and haunting things and I can’t thank her enough. I paint, scavenge, speak, create, draw, embroider, paint but in miniature this time, collage, cry, write, all occasionally, of course.

Recently, I have fallen into the habit of giving myself the freedom to make whatever I want, and I’ve got some good ideas. The first step into my solo creativity is the unread inn.
